Gee, I wonder how many subs will I loose today... I play more than just Sonic games you know...
So I found out about this new rally racing game called Gravel. I love rally games, especially of the arcade kind. My go to series has always been the Dirt series. And with the risk of upsetting people, my favorite Dirt game was Dirt 2... which you can't get anywhere on PC now because GFWL was a thing... thanks Microsoft. I also like Dirt Rally, at least from the demo I played and despite being a very good simulation rally game, it lacks the festive nature I liked in Dirt 2.
The handling in Gravel is really good and satisfying especially if you remove a lot of the assists. I mostly just drift around instead of cutting corners the professional way, because drifting is fun :3. I only showcase the demo that is on Steam. The game in my region goes for 50 euros and for someone like me who is an Eastern European on a tight budget is a bit too much. 30 euros I will definitely pay though. :)
Also at the top left corner there are MSI Afterburner graphs for those interested if they're not confident their rig can't run it optimally. The settings I used are at the beginning of the video.
My system for those interested:
CPU - Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.4 ghz (with Turbo Boost Enabled)
Motherboard - ASRock H61M-DGS
GPU - MSI GTX 1050 Ti Aero 4 GB
RAM - 2x4 GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX Savage CL9 @ 1600 mhz
HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB
PSU - SIrtec High Power Element Bronze 500 W
Chances are that most of you have a better rig than my Eastern European brand welfare PC, but if you're not sure, you can use the metrics in my video as reference.
I mostly want to showcase how fun this game is, so I hope you enjoy. :3
